-- No, it's not you, it reads as if Trump's people wrote it. --MMan710 19:23, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
-- I agree. I'm taking out all of the "State-of-the-art" talk. Modus 05:00, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Trump Marina → Golden Nugget Atlantic City (2011-) – On May 23, 2011 the New Jersey Casino Control Commission approved Landry's Restaurants as the new owner of the Trump Marina which then changed the name of the property to Golden Nugget Atlantic City. See here and here for references to the sale and name changed. I've also added (2011-) as part of the article name to separate it from the former Golden Nugget property now known as the Hilton Atlantic City. Accordingly this article should be moved. Updating and de-promotionalizing
editCarrite and I edit conflicted in rewriting this article. I've provisionally left my version substantially unchanged because I made more thoroughgoing changes, including junking an outdated reference to the Landry's sale as breaking news, adding several references (including for the sale that fell through and for the renovation of the marina) and rearranging more thoroughly - we both combined the two history sections. What should be reverted or further changed?
I thought of putting a "citation needed" on the bit about performers who have played there. What I saw in the local press was rather different - during the Trump years it was one of the few places in Atlantic City to catch alternative rock, but since a format change at the local radio station that organized the events, no longer. But of course it could also have hosted big names. Thoughts on that? Anything else that should be marked as needing refs, or have one or more added? Yngvadottir (talk) 12:49, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
- No worries, I just dropped in on the piece via WPO. Carrite (talk) 13:24, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
- As did I! (And found someone had tagged instead of reverting.) But we both then took a fresh look at the article. Unfortunately I work very slowly. Yngvadottir (talk) 21:43, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
