I've noticed how the main classic guitar riff at the beginning, after the child has his quote, is very similar to the riff used in the Def Leppard song "Hysteria". Could someone else confirm it? I have a tiny theory about it... GABO —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.45.125.99 (talk) 23:11, 6 December 2006 (UTC).
Yes I can hear a resemblance, but the opening riff of Metallica's Fade to black is much more similar. It's almost exactly the same.213.6.112.223 (talk) 16:06, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Plot
editwhat is the real plot of this? I think it's Pink looking at the germans bombing over london.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.188.127.35 (talk • contribs) 3:07, 19 June 2006 (UTC).
- It's about the Blitz transforming skies into something terrifying. The child spots a plane in the blue sky, but it is coming to try and kill them, and they should fear the sky. After the war, we are in an airport and the sky is innocent again "but the pain lingers on".
- I've added information on System Of A Down's cover of the song during live shows. Suffocation90
- I think that the sentence "We learn that he travels to America and becomes a rock star. He and his girlfriend get married" isn't correct. I think we learn that he travels to America and becomes a rock star in the song Young Lust. What do you think? Sorry if my English isn't perfect... --Thewikifox (talk) 14:35, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was wrong. At the end of the song airport noises can be heard. Goodbye. --Thewikifox (talk) 15:13, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
