editWould be interesting to read here about technical framework of GMS and about how technical licensing actualy works - also about what can and cannot be done in a GMS framework. Finally Google seems to consider different device groups differently - GMS mobile phones and GMS set top boxes for examples. That would also nicely fit in here. Sorry can't contribute - I have more questions than answers.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.213.3.4 (talk • contribs) 16:11, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
Merger
editI suggest a merger with List of Google products. --42.113.73.178 (talk) 09:46, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- Right now this page simply contains duplicate information, and almost nothing in this article can't simply be mentioned in a few pages, also there is already a mobile services section in the list of Google products. --LyThienDao1984 (talk) 09:56, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
It's not 'simply' duplicate information, it's a specific set of services that usually come with android phones but are distinctly seperate from the operating system, this page was useful to me, merging the page would destroy that usefulness because it likely wouldn't have turned up in a search.--195.254.134.242 (talk) 08:25, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

Former apps of GMS not included
editThere should be had a section of former Google apps that was part of Google mobile services (GMS). PedroLucasDBr (talk) 05:43, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
Big GIFs are extremely distracting...
edit..., don't you think?
Wouldn't be better to use a static image instead of the actual enormous, colorful GIF to illustrate the page?
Or at least provide a way to stop the GIF to keep... "GIFing"?
This is something that has been bothering me in Wikipedia (in general) for a long, long time. Don't know what can I do about it.
Thanks a lot, everyone. riveravaldez (talk) 03:43, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, that one is a little over-the-top. I'm a huge fan of animated images to illustrate something that cannot be conveyed in a static image, but this is just a slideshow of icons, which is discouraged under WP:GALLERY. It's also a little tangential to the topic - maybe more useful at Android (operating system). I'm going to boldly remove it since it's a recent addition. Kuru (talk) 14:20, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
Updates for controversy section?
editIs it worth updating the controversy section to show some of the results of the complaints? Hamishmb (talk) 12:02, 15 July 2022 (UTC)
