While most of the material here seems to lack a source the paragraph 'Contrary to popular belief, Gophers! had no actual gophers in the first production. Largely a misconception, the gophers thought to be in the show were actually chihuahuas with superimposed gopher faces that were put in place during post production' seems suspicious so, I have removed for now.
