Should the Austro-Hungarian II and III Armies be deleted?

edit

The Orbat section includes the Austro-Hungarian II and III Armies, whereas Stone (1975) (my only authoritative source) only lists the AH IV Army. Thus should the other two AH armies be deleted from the Orbat section? They’re also not mentioned elsewhere. Of course, if the armies go, so must their commanders, from the too-long list of Central Powers’ commanders. --Wally Tharg (talk) 16:14, 1 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Call to merge with Battle of Dunajetz

edit

There’s a separate article on the Battle of Dunajetz that covers much of the same material, but not so well, and which contains several mistakes. (This article is clearly the better of the two.) This is a call to merge the good parts of the Dunajetz article with this one, as a subsection, and to discard the rest. Any thoughts? --Wally Tharg (talk) 18:07, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Minor tweaks

edit

Hello,

I did some minor editing today in "background" and "driving onwards".

Hope they're ok and of a sufficient quality. Just wanted to let you guys know, since I'm not a regular here! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.38.136.77 (talk) 05:02, 22 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Math

edit

Strength

219,000 at start of offensive; up to 50,000 reinforcements[1]

Casualties and losses

2 May – 22 June: Total: ~350,000 250,000 captured ~100,000 killed and wounded[4]

These number don't add up. Casualties are higher than initial strength+reinforcements, heh — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.166.112.90 (talk) 11:50, 7 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
