Split proposal
editBy byte count, the Compositions section takes up around 145 kilobytes - more than half of the article. Yet, it is still marked as "needs expansion". This is clearly ridiculous for such a composer article. I propose that this entire section be split off into its own article - List of compositions by Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel, while leaving a summary of the composer's musical style and activities behind. --*Fehufangą ♮ ✉ Talk page 09:55, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- Fehufanga, while your intiation of this discussion is appreciated, I can tell you that absolutely no one would dispute your proposal. The part in question is whether a split will actually happen (that someone will go about doing so, I mean) or if this tag will remain here stale for months on end. - @Aza24 That's true I suppose. I wasn't confident with splitting off such a huge chunk of the article. I suppose I can just split it now. --*Fehufangą (✉ Talk · ✎ Contribs) 04:27, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
- Article has been spit to List of compositions by Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel. --*Fehufangą (✉ Talk · ✎ Contribs) 05:27, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
