Ownership
editThe ownership of the brewery is complicated. As far as I am aware the Pecquer family sold the St Omer brewery to Heineken in 1996 and bought it back in 2008. They also bought Les Brasseurs de Gayant, making them the third largest beer brewer in France, behind Heineken and Kronenbourg and is therefore the largest independent beer brewery in France. It is estimated that more than half the sales are outside France.
André Pecquer is the PDG of the group. Around 2016 they started to build a new brewery in Arques (costing an estimated 60 million euro), which was not yet finished in 2018, although production had already started. JHvW 10:44, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
