Suggested move to Gourdou-Leseurre GL.32
editThe Coupe Beaumont Cup aircraft, the GL.30, was developed into the unsuccessful GL.31 fighter but the GL.32 was not developed from them, as far as I can see. The wing was quite different. The focus of the article is on the GL.32, so I think that should be its title. There's enough info in Flight and the French literature for a separate article on the GL.30 and GL.31, titled the former, and I have that in hand.
If there are no objections, I'll make the move in a few days time.TSRL (talk) 18:20, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- Separate articles would be the way to go if indeed the 32 was unrelated to the 30 but the sources I have all say they were related and that the 32 was a development of the 31 ([1]) - as does the nomenclature - the French designation system used the first digits as the basic type, and the last digit as a sub-type, so these are all type 3 monoplanes, with subtypes of 30, 31, 32, 34, 35 etc. If there is enough material for pages for each sub-type then by all means but I kind of doubt that there is, especially as most were one offs. - NiD.29 (talk) 14:10, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
