Agreed, we will revise. @Dumelow: I suggest deleting the section and just mentioning briefly where appropriate in the body text that the uniform was the same as "... Regiment".  ~ RLO1729^💬 02:36, 27 May 2020 (UTC)

I went ahead and cut the section, added a sentence to the Formation section, and included uniform in the infobox. Let me know if there is anything else from the old Uniform section that needs to be retained.  ~ RLO1729^💬 03:08, 27 May 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for your edits RLO1729, I quite like uniform details but that's just personal preference. No objection to their removal, I've copied the info to the talk page, mainly for my reference. I've removed Sumner and the Wiltshire Archaeological Society from the bibliography as they are now unused - Dumelow (talk) 03:38, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
