:@Rif Winfield: the article's figures were recently changed by an IP, and these changes weren't sourced. I'd like to make sure the article follows sources. The article references the 2012 estimates from CSO's "General Population Housing and Establishment Census 2012 Final Results", but no link can take me to that 2012 report (just a 2004 one, it seems) and CSO's site is impossible to navigate. Do you have a source for those 2012 official estimates? --BurritoBazooka (talk) 13:20, 4 January 2016 (UTC) Nevermind, I found a 'yearbook' with some estimates. --BurritoBazooka (talk) 13:33, 4 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Discrepancy in sizes of the governorates

edit

I noticed that the sizes of some of the governorates listed in this article are different form the sizes listed in their own article. For example, the size of Al Mahrah Governorate is 122,500 km2, but in the article it is shown as 82,405 km2. The same happens to Dhamar, Raymar, Saada and Socotra, and the sizes listed on this article is always larger.

However, all the area listed in the individual articles lack sources and may be inaccurate. For example, size of Al Mahrah is 68,851 km2 according Yemenlg. Are their any reliable sources that provides the accurate areas of the Yemeni Governorates? GoombaKoopa (talk) 04:31, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
