major tourist attraction
"The Gower peninsula is one of the UK's major tourist attractions and is the best-known district in Wales after Snowdonia" This is a slight exaggeration I think (and I used to live there!!) It sounds as though it has been written by the local tourist board official. Julianp 07:09, 6 Apr 2004 (UTC)
I agree Julianp; this article does seem to be written from a highly biased point of view. The Gower IS a beautiful place, and the article is largely correct about its beauty and the 'quaintness' of its villages; but the voice of the article is innappropriate.
Gower Peninsula
This page has been moved from 'Gower peninsula' to 'Gower Peninsula' as the two words together make up the place name. It's not a peninsula belonging to the Gower, it's The Gower Peninsula, a place and a proper noun. FruitMonkey (talk) 15:29, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
