I'd like diagrams of axial and planar gradiometers.
I'd like to explain the differences in response to a given signal for each type (e.g., planar gradiometer will detect a dipole immediately below the sensor, whereas axial actually picks up signals from the sides).
I'd like to add this page to the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Neuroscience somehow (don't know how it works).
All of this is straining (or past) the limits of my knowledge.
Also, I don't know if the types apply to any gradiometer or just ones to detect magnetic field.
I'd like someone who knows more about this to read carefully and write a bit.
