Per the official site Grammy.com, the award-year, which it gives, is different from the year in which the award was given, which is what this page (and presumably other Grammy pages in Wikipedia) gives. For example, for 2004, Grammy.com doesn't list Luther Vandross as the winner, but "2004 - 47th Annual Grammy Award: Best Male R&B Vocal Performance: "Call My Name" - Prince, artist."
