Fair use rationale for Image:Gran Turismo.png

edit

Image:Gran Turismo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Page Rewrite

edit

This page really needs to be redone, whoever wrote it takes very one sided views, on one hand the part about GT1 praises it as being greater than Jesus (a little rephrasing on my part) and in the criticisms someone commented on the exclusion of the Cien from the 500hp+ race in GT4 as outrageous. I've removed that because it's so ridiculous, however, the entire page needs complete rewording Pongley (talk) 21:59, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Tagged the statements in criticism with [citation needed] until Wikipedia:reliable sources for every claim is provided. Remove those tags without providing well referenced sources will be reverted cause is violating Wikipedia:Verifiability. --PS3 Addict (talk) 23:28, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Rewrite and reformat underway

edit

This page has been tagged for almost 2 years with corrections needed. I have started making changes by introducing a table format for the list of the games in the series. This models other long running console series. The table format eliminated a lot of content that can found on the article pages of each game.Only1true (talk) 03:17, 15 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

More detail

edit

Shouldn't there be a listof items that need more detail? I'll start one right here: Nissan Micra demo disc (gameplay, cars, tracks, etc.) Nissan 350Z demo disc (same as above) BMW 1-series demo disc (same as Nissan Micra) Gran Turismo for Boys (any particular goal?) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dudeaga (talkcontribs) 14:47, 6 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Car List

edit

I've started working on a list of cars, similar to the Forza list, and put it on my user page. Please contribute by going here.heat_fan1 (talk) 21:10, 22 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sim racing genre

edit

Overview states explicitly "most gameplay derives from its simulation mode" - removal of the Sim genre is unwarranted. ScrpIronIV 17:11, 4 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Primary topic by pageviews for the term "Gran Turismo". However, I have no objection to Gran turismo redirecting to Grand tourer if people think that it's the primary topic by longterm significance - but only for the uncapitalized, non-proper-noun version. The video game series should still be primary for the capitalized version. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 21:05, 12 March 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 22:01, 19 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Concerns and solutions.

edit

I think it should stay currently as it is with all the information For Gran Turismo do the fact the history of it is very complex, and also it's involvement with Motorsports.

I could trim it down but how do you think we could make, it a bit more better if you think there's a problem with the edits? Shane O'Sullivan the 1 (talk) 19:47, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
