New England Lodge No. 4
editThe list of original lodges opens with, "Prior to formation of the Grand Lodge of Ohio, six lodges operated under authority of charters issued by their individual parent grand lodges...." New England Lodge's number under the Grand Lodge of Connecticut was 48, not 4. It did not become 4 until after the Grand Lodge of Ohio was formed. Thus "No. 48" is correct.
