Slo no-one thinks it important or of interest to explain why it's called "the Pump Room"? I guess I'm just unusual in that the very first thing I wonder about when I hear of a building called "the Grand Pump Room", I immediately wonder why it's called such an unusual name. Oh well, I'm sure it's nothing important. Perhaps they just liked the way it sounded or something like that.
