Merger proposal

I propose to merge Granville (French band) into Granville (band), effectively by deleting Granville (French band) and redirecting it to Granville (band). I can see from the edit history that the Granville (band) article was originally about the French band, but content was overwritten in 2015/16 with material about an American band: this material about the American band was not referenced and probably not notable. The overwriting was subsequently deleted and the French band material restored, but in the meantime the second article Granville (French band) was created. We now have two articles about the same subject. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 17:25, 25 January 2019 (UTC)

- Strongly support. Make Granville (French band) a redirect leading to Granville (band) which is already a shorter article title and is far more comprehensive in info and contains better referencing and discography. werldwayd (talk) 22:12, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
I split the content about the American band to Granville (American band). – wbm1058 (talk) 17:07, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
