Talk:Grave Danger/Archive 1

I see a slight problem wit the name. It is "Grave Danger (CSI Episode)" when all others are along the lines of "Grave Danger (CSI episode)" (which also seems to be the naiming convention for other TV episodes). (Emperor 17:08, 17 June 2007 (UTC))
- And while we are tlaking about the name I notice Grave Danger redirects here and there doesn't seem to be anything much else with the name. I'd suggest this could be moved to the top slot. (Emperor 17:11, 17 June 2007 (UTC))
- You are right, of course. I have a habit of Capitalising Words Which Don't Need To Be Capitalised. I will move this to Grave Danger and fix redirects. Editus Reloaded 18:37, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- Damn. Grave Danger exists already. Damn damn damn damn. Have put in a request for move on Wikipedia:Requested moves.Editus Reloaded 14:45, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- OK, I'm not laughing now. Between my posting the move request and now (about 2 days), someone has added a disambiguation page for Grave Danger. Will move to Grave Danger (CSI episode) to finally comply with naming conventions. Editus Reloaded 13:38, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- You can't win ;) The graphic novel is iffy (self-published through Lulu.com) but the Hardy Boys book is solid so it does make sense. Pity it arose while we were trying to sort this out. At least it is finally in the right place. (Emperor 18:28, 20 June 2007 (UTC))
- Seems a little unfair, it's not like there are other articles containing the words "Grave Danger". We go to the trouble of writing a full and detailed article (better than Pilot IMHO, due to analytical commentary) and we have to play second fiddle to a flaky graphic novel and a book that doesn't have an article. I thought that disambiguation was to separate similarly named articles, not topics of discussion. Otherwise, I could disambiguate, say, Honour guard from the novel of the same name by Dan Abnett, although there is no article for the novel. Grr. Editus Reloaded 16:39, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'd support a move of the disambiguation page to Grave Danger (disambiguation) and this to the top slot. The rest of the disambiguation links are red links and could stay that way for a long time (I'd be concerned that the graphic novel entry if it was ever written would fail notability) making the disambiguation page weak and not very useful. It'd certianly be worth floating the idea. (Emperor 17:35, 21 June 2007 (UTC))
- Good idea, it seems pretty clear cut, but should we get consensus on it first? Editus Reloaded 19:36, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- Clearly no one cares that much. Will fix as soon as I post a note to the quy who moved this ep off the top spot. Editus Reloaded 16:57, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- OK cool. I was just checking through it and it all seems to be fine so far. (Emperor 18:08, 26 June 2007 (UTC))
- I'm getting seriously hacked off by this now; I'm not allowed to move this page to Grave Danger for no apparent reason. Editus Reloaded 18:58, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
