Do you have a source for this? The existing source in the article says 50-80 pounds (which is about 6-10 gallons); I've corrected the article to match that, but if you have a better source with more accurate information, we can use that. Anaxial (talk) 12:23, 25 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have visited Ojo de Liebre Lagoon & seen this. What the article does not indicate is that when the boats park themselves, some whales will head away, some will approach, & most will ignore the boats. Still, to have several gray whales approach your boat & surface close enough for you to pet them is pretty special, even with getting sprayed from a blow hole. I believe that the Mexican government puts limits on the number of boats that can go out, & requires the boat captains to have annual training.
