- The Greasecar is a different topic than Straight Vegetable Oil. At the moment the articles may be similar but eventually they will contain different information, one about the fuel and the other about how the car uses it. Also, please note that Greasecars can also run on WVO (Waste Vegetable Oil) after it is filtered.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mydadsgun (talk • contribs)
- This page need to be deleted, with the "Greasecar" keyword redirected to "Vegetable Oil used as Fuel." Two arguments have been offered in favor of maintaining separation of these pages: 1) Greasecar is a for-profit company, and therefore, different than "Vegetable Oil used as Fuel." If this is the case, it violates WP:N and WP:Independent. If Greasecar the company is given its own WP main page, so must all other comparable companies. This is a slippery slope either way, but as I understand the rules, none of them should be included. 2) The articles will "eventually differ." This hasn't happened and it's been many months. Should this happen, a more appropriate article title would be "Applications of Vegetable Oil as Fuel." If there are other arguments, please pose them. E8 (talk) 05:05, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
