Translation of Kenesset
editThe word kenesset in "Anshei Kenesset Hagadol" has been translated in many different ways in this article. I believe that the translation "Synagogue" is wrong. In English the word implies a building. Assembly seems to work well; I have also seen synod used. Phil burnstein (talk) 10:52, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
