Great Sultan is NOT a stub because, as the article explains, it is not a valid historical term, just a common phrase without intrinsic meaning.
Apart from the occasional comparative observation on similar fabrications, I see no justification for elaboration here, in stead of under the authentic lemmata were serious information belongs (the creator of the article
I tightened up the writing. I think it looks better, more factual and NPOV. I don't understand the last paragraph. Can we clean it up or take it out? EmersonLowry 04:47, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
This page should be deleted
editThis page seems to have no purpose and nothing links to it. It doesn't describe an actual title, just a term occasionally used by Europeans to refer to the Ottoman ruler. It is by no means a noteworthy topic and doesn't deserve to have a whole article to its own. I'm proposing that it be deleted, but of course anyone who objects should voice their opinion.
