This article accurately outlines a not-for-profit third-party certification program, similar to that of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). It represents a set of energy efficiency green building standards/guidelines aiming at increasing the adoption of more energy efficient technology, green building awareness, and ridding facilities of inefficient and energy wasteful outdated technology. The criteria which must be met to become certified is similar to, and in some cases also fullfills, criteria also required for federal tax incentives and larger building certifications (such as LEED) relating to the same kinds of green building upgrades. It is not represent an "article about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.)" as defined in CSDA7.
