I suppose this article is notable, but it skirts over the characteristics of the place that visitors should be aware of: Numerous snakes in the dunes, sea snakes in murky waters, wild dogs in both; antidotes to the bites of these are unavailable. The currents and waves are treacherous, sweeping away whole families who are never found, and attempting to access the water front results in tumbling head first into large boulders, all of which are slippery and unstable. Many sharks lurk in the area, waiting to swarm onto visitors, in concert with barracuda and orca, the feeding frenzy beginning when wobbegong deliver crippling bites to the limbs of wading tourists. Crocodiles do not occur in the area, and they are wise to avoid it. There are jellyfish, with insidious toxins, that are invisible in the water and on the beach, but people have been known to recover, eventually. Emergency calls from these beaches are ignored, as service personnel refuse to enter the area.
Shhh, you'll scare away the tourists. Good thing you didn't mention local thieves loitering in the car-park and beach waiting to steal the possessions of the stricken tourists while refusing to offer assistance. Hughesdarren (talk) 04:33, 5 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
hey guys - if hfs created it, there is all likelihood that there are things to look under, but the article and the comments above, make it a fun excursion into hell on earth within a days drive... JarrahTree05:29, 5 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
