There appears to be a set of editors making modifications to various articles to push forward an agenda regarding Venezuela. It also appears that the subject of this article - Greg Wilpert has a viewpoint that is unsympathetic with these editors.
It looks like they've cherry picked some quotes that don't give any insight into Wilpert, but seem aimed at discrediting him on some matter of economics.
If this has relevance to people who want to know who he is, then this needs to be explained. If his statements are considered controversial, then a reference to the controversy should be given.
It breaks my heart to see Wikipedia go down this path, it's been such a good resource of learning, but people with agendas to push are slowly ruining it.
