How big?
editI saw a description of this house that said it had 28 rooms, not 14. Is this accurate? 69.125.134.86 (talk) 23:44, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
Isn't there supposed to be a garden?
editI heard something about a marble faun? Gaby (talk) 06:49, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
Its name
editHow did the estate get its name?
I see where it can be implied from, but it is never stated like, "Grey Gardens is named for/after the . . . ." or "Grey Gardens gets its name from . . . ." 2600:8800:50B:6700:C23F:D5FF:FEC5:89B6 (talk) 05:26, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
2018 house lift & basement installation
editIt has been one year since the sale of Grey Gardens and there have been some ongoing developments of note not yet documented in this article. I would like to document the new events in the appropriate manner, however being a very casual editor I feel I don't yet have enough knowledge to effectively add the needed references.
Would someone knowledgeable be kind enough to update this article if the (below) links seem valid?
Reports indicate that the new owner's construction team has removed the chimneys and solarium, and lifted the house from its foundation while installing a full basement to replace the inadequate original crawl space beneath the house. The attached one-story building, rectangular swimming pool, tennis courts and the majority of the lawn plantings and driveways have been removed. The small pool house at the rear of the property appears to have been replaced with a newly constructed, larger relocated version. The Spanish wall garden and thatched hut appear to be intact.
