Last sentence/second citation are unnecessary

An example of its use, as far as I know (which is not very far), is not very useful in a short article such as this. I think these should be removed. Catreplicators (talk) 01:28, 11 April 2024 (UTC)

My view is that examples of the application of a metric are helpful, as this one is. They help to demonstrate that they system is being used (thus helping to establish notability), and to aid the understanding of definitions (learning by example). Klbrain (talk) 11:23, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
