• It is probably better to spell out "Street" instead of "St" in the prose. (fixed)
• Avoid terms like "(pictured)" in the text, as Wikipedia content is often exported without the accompanying images. (fixed)
• Dating is to be in the format April 12, 1843, or 12 April 1843 (no use of 'th'). (fixed)
• 8 acres needs to be converted into metric hectars. The format for doing this is {{convert|8|acre}}

• Union Hill is a disambiguation page.

For the formatting, I believe I have fixed what you requested. The lead (which is pretty much the longest one I've ever written) has had information added to it. - Theornamentalist (talk) 01:29, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

This is about the minimum length of a lead for any article, but acceptable because of the short length of the article. Remember: most readers of a Wikipedia article only read the lead, so it is important that it has a sufficient length and is well written. Congratulations with a good article.
