Recent edits: all-caps and FS = Farm Supply?
editI thought we should discuss the proposed changes:
- Growmark vs GROWMARK
- FS does/did or does/did not stand for Farm Supply
While they were introduced by an admitted employee and thus have conflict of interest, I have verified that Growmark uses all caps in every location on their website, though per prior editor, "Growmark" is commonly used in press releases and elsewhere. So, all-caps is simply a trademark. And, while it is likely FS once stood for "Farm Supply" based on the company's prior name, I can no longer find the independent verification I once could on this. - Following up on this due to recent edits. This page (https://www.growmark.com/about-us) heavily implies, but does not state, that FS was taken from the original name for Growmark, "Illinois Farm Supply Company". I cannot find any definitive reference that states that's what it stands for, however. Nor can I find any reference that definitively states that it stands for nothing. It's thus probably best not to speculate on its meaning here. Jtrevor99 (talk) 21:10, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
