Need to eliminate EB as a source
editThe effort to source this thing out is appreciated, but using the current online Encyclopedia Britannica as a source really shouldn't be happening, for what I hope are obvious reasons. Carrite (talk) 18:41, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
Lots of uncited and unencyclopedic sentences
editwhole article needs revision and new citations. Sentences like "Admiration of guild socialism led to a more "individualistic" form of it being suggested as a natural outcome for a united humanity in the science fiction work of Olaf Stapledon-although hundreds of years in the future." should be either sourced, or deleted Remusofreem (talk) 00:36, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
Relationship to Syndicalism
editSeems to me, Guild Socialism if compared to other social movements, is most similar to forms of Syndicalism? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.25.131.240 (talk) 20:19, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
I removed the piped link to Gremialismo
editIn the opening paragraph, guild socialism is described as "a political movement advocating workers' control of industry through the medium of trade-related guilds". For some reason beyond my comprehension, the words "though the medium" contained a piped hyperlink to the page on Gremialismo. This is clearly a case of WP:EASTEREGG, and since I am not sure about the exact relationship between guild socialism on the one hand and gremialismo on the other (but assuming that they are two different, albeit related, ideologies, since they have two different articles) I just went ahead and removed the hyperlink altogether. Please let me know if anyone has objections to that. Nikolaj1905 (talk) 09:16, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
