editThe this page is made on the life of a legend artist Gul Muhammad Khatri; how to make it searchable at google?
Dear Edward123, I am not sure what exactly issue you see in this page; the paintings of Gul Muhammad Khatri are included in the official record of Sindh Archives. As He died in 1979 (the period when internet did not exist in Pakistan), we have hardly any references available at internet. The record of his exhibitions has been collected by me from his family and friends. Please note that I am doing this voluntarily. The following youtube link will help you know more about this person: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sg2DX_niqg — Preceding unsigned comment added by Farooq Arby (talk • contribs) 09:27, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
- Wikipedia requires reliable sources. Youtube is not a reliable source. Neither is Facebook. And an exhaustive, unsourced list of exhibitions is just clutter. Take a look at articles like Monet or M. C. Escher which use print sources to document the artist's life and work. Edward321 (talk) 13:41, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
Hi Farooq Arby I believe this person is notable, but perhaps the references to him may be found in books rather than internet sources. We so not need internet sources for Wikipedia, but I am sure there must be some books that mention him. If this is a pet project of yours you might find some in the art gallery or university library. You could also ask on the facebook page if anyone has any book references with him mentioned. Egaoblai (talk) 12:32, 4 December 2017 (UTC)
Hello, i have found the require book. It’s named ‘Pakistan Pictorial and was published by Pakistan Publications in 1988. This piece is originally from the University of Michigan. Since the problem is solved now i will be removing the unnecessary issues after referencing the book on this page. Thankyou.caprium
