UFO
editWhile investigating this matter, seen two (2) of these things myself. One was a black sphere, the other was a classic light in the sky that switched itself off when a plane got too close to it. This was in 1998-1999. I've also seen the torn up property in town where UFOs have landed and people have been sending soil samples to have them tested, mainly for radioactivity. I was in Panama City, Florida and in Gulf Breeze itself. Wikipedia protocol forbids listing this due to WP:NOR. Martial Law 00:01, 9 March 2006 (UTC) :)
City Government
editThe main entry identifies the Mayor as affiliated with a particular political party. The City Council seats as well as the Mayor's seat have always been nonpartisan races. As a result it would not be correct to construe a polical party as affiliated with the Mayor's position. This is fairly typical in many small municipalities. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.5.74.250 (talk • contribs) 22:45, 6 November 2006
Major copyright violations in "History" section
editThe bulk of the History section was lifted directly from the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce's website. Because this represents a copyright violation, I have removed the offending text. Kindest regards, AlphaEta 16:12, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- FYI it was added in this edit. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 17:27, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Logobot.jpg
editImage:Logobot.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
I removed the information about Orange Beach being a strict enforcement area per AAA. The link does not seem to work. I am preserving the removed material here so it can easily be restored if the citation can be fixed.
“ | AAA has designated Gulf Breeze as also one of seven "strict enforcement areas" for traffic laws in the United States. This rating is one level short of speed trap, and is only shared by six other cities and towns nationwide.[1] | ” |
The present link does not bring up anything similar to the quote. Thanks JodyB talk 21:06, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

Navarre and Bruce Smith
editIt is not obvious to me why the article at the moment has a See also for Navarre, Florida. Perhaps that should be removed.
It also looks as though the Bruce Smith mansioned is other than the one linked to, and there is no indication that the Bruce Smith mentioned is in fact notable. I believe that should be deleted. Thoughts?--2603:7000:2143:8500:50CA:A49C:529C:9216 (talk) 08:25, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
