Naming conventions
editI didn't even know this article existed on WP until today! I'll give it a thorough review sometime soon - looks like great content.
However, the current article name violates WP naming conventions - it needs to be Martian gullies, not Martian Gullies (it's not a proper name). On a slightly more subjective note, I think it should just be Gully (Mars), which is the typical format you see almost everywhere else in our project. In addition, using this form would follow all the WP conventions "use lower case", "use singular forms", and "use nouns". Thoughts? DanHobley (talk) 05:04, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
- Hi there, I just moved the page to "Martian gullies" because the use of caps irked me. SOrry I did not check this Talk page before. If you think that "Gully (Mars)" is best in the geology naming context, then by all means, move it. I am stepping back, you won't hear me complain ;-). Cheers, BatteryIncluded (talk)
- Cool. I'll give it a couple more days, just in case, then I'll move it again! DanHobley (talk) 03:50, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
- Move complete. DanHobley (talk) 20:17, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

Galleries need work
editThey're getting out of hand! Most of thses images should go to a new sub-page at Commons Category:Gullies on Mars -- with just enoughhere to introduce the general reader to the topic. See Gallery section at WP:MOS
Plus, we're about to be overwhelmed with the new HiRise imagery -- see the fabulous new lead image! --Pete Tillman (talk) 16:33, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
