In the last sentence of the third paragraph of the intro, there is the following:

"Various firearm-related websites exist that partner, either directly or indirectly, with physical stores[citation needed]"

Propose updating this to include the following references & examples:

Various firearm-related websites exist that partner, either directly or indirectly, with physical stores.[1][2][3][4][5] Two of the best-known firearm auction sites are GunBroker.com, ranked #1 by Similarweb in the "Sports > Hunting and Shooting (In United States)" category as of July 2023,[6][7] and Armslist, which is ranked #14 by Similarweb in the Sports > Hunting and Shooting (In United States)" category as of July 2023.[8] LoVeloDogs (talk) 23:42, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

I see your logic in declining the Similarweb data for the two companies that actually have Wikipedia pages, as that (in retrospect) is irrelevant to this topic.
I was trying to provide examples for the requested citation of the top companies I am aware of that meet the criteria by including more than just GunBroker.com in the spirit of transparency. The key information I saw in that text was "that partner, either directly or indirectly, with physical stores", just FYI. There are numerous sites that sell guns directly, but those that "partner" are far fewer in number.
Question, would the below example be more appropriately put?
"Various firearm-related websites exist that partner, either directly or indirectly, with physical stores. Examples include ARMSLIST, GunAuction.com, GunBroker.com, GUNSAMERICA, and Rock Island Auction Company. "
(although I see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rock Island Auction Company, they are indeed an entity that engages in these unique partnerships)

@LoVeloDogs:, are you aware whether or not you consider something is useful, any contribution whose intention is, or has the appearance of increasing visibility, improving its standing in relation to gun related searches or increasing publicity in the field for your company is prohibited? So, if I were to make this entry & citations without any mention of GunBroker.com, it would be acceptable? Just trying to get a handle on how I can improve pages without any COI, but still providing relevant, factual information. LoVeloDogs (talk) 21:10, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Not a guarantee, but you're getting the idea. Please see WP:PSTS and WP:RS; and also WP:BLOGS. Graywalls (talk) 23:43, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
