Which should it be: gunbatsu or gumbatsu?

edit

At first, "gumbatsu" in the second header appeared to me to be a typo for "gunbatsu" but a quick search shows 123 hits for "gumbatsu" including:

http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,775909,00.html "World: Down with the Gumbatsu!", Time Magazine, Monday, June 18, 1945.

and

Tom Chao's translation of US Propaganda leaflets dropped on Japan in WWII at: http://nutmegcollector.blogspot.com/2011/03/japan-10-yen-1930-banknote-on-u-s.html

However, "gunbatsu" has 16,000+ hits including:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065767/ Gekido no showashi 'Gunbatsu' English transliteration of the title of a 1970 Japanese movie about a Japanese reporter who angered Tojo.
