editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Gurindji people. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20060831035038/http://www.daguragu.nt.gov.au/home/home to http://www.daguragu.nt.gov.au/home/home
When you have finished reviewing my changes, you may follow the instructions on the template below to fix any issues with the URLs.

Removal of "Outdated" template
editYou remove the "Outdated" template without reading the reason that I added in the 'Edit Summary', i.e." add 'Outdated as of |2008|12|31' because the article does not acknowledge the change of Local Government that occured in 2008". The Daguragu Community Government Council ceased to exist in 2008 by the creation of the local government area of Victoria Daly Shire (now called the Victoria Daly Region). The communities in both Daguragu and Kalkarindji are in one ward which returns one councillor to the Region, i.e. Councillor Georgina Macleod. In lieu of a community government council, Councillor Mcleod is assisted by a local authority which is composed of the following persons - Kalkarindji-Daguragu local authority members. Please reply here if you wish to do so.

- Templates are calls for someone to do work. I never personally put them in because if I note a problem I fix it. To throw the burden on future passing editors may just end up meaning that a page stays tagged for a decade. Of course we all have personal obligations that eat into the time we would otherwise like to dedicate to articles. In my experience however most things can be fixed in a few minutes. In the present instance, to fix what you point out simply requires a note to the effect as of 2008 the reorganization of what is now the Victoria Daly Region categorizes both the Daguragu and Kalkarindji communities as forming one ward. (with citation). I removed the verification tag as well. When my attention was drawn back here, I just sat down and worked up some stuff, adding several sources, that took in real time about 25 minutes, though the edits took three hours (because I have duties as a carer for a person with advanced dementia, among many other things). Cheers Nishidani (talk) 13:09, 22 March 2020 (UTC).
