editIf someone has any idea of what a bipolar question is or what is cv ccv or cccv. or what are the relations between gurung as language or as an ethnic group (if there are such) you may want to edit the article. Okyea 10:55, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- CV, CCV and CCCV are (unless the writer has used them for something else!) syllable structures: they stand for Consonant-Vowel, Consonant-Consonant-Vowel and Consonant-Consonant-Consonant-Vowel. e.g. CV CCV CCCV could be [ta] [tra] [stra]. So this suggests all Gurung syllables are "open", i.e. can't have anything after the vowel. See Syllable#syllable structure. As there's no citation and I know nothing about Gurung I'm not adding this info to the article myself. -- Shimmin Beg (talk) 08:53, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Moved from article
edit- gurung language(Tamu kui) is just like nepali .( like cantonese and manderine ). if we write in chinese charecter then only pronuncation is different but other all are same .
It's not clear what the writer actually means by this. That Gurung has the same syntax as Nepali? That Gurung and Nepali are written in Hanzi (although they don't say this and I don't see why they would)? I've moved it here because I don't think, as it stands, it is useful to the reader, and it's quite confusing. -- Shimmin Beg (talk) 09:05, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
