I just deleted most of it. The article needs to be rewritten from scratch. Using someone's own words and not material copied from the college website, please. Katr67 02:16, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Number of students

Currently, at the top of the Gutenberg College wikipedia article, it says "Founded in 1994, the school has 75 students" and at the side template it says Students 48 Which is correct? What is the reliable source for either? Thanks. 63.247.160.139 (talk) 08:01, 24 February 2014 (UTC)

As Jsayre64 did, I used the number from the college faq, considered a primary source. I'm not sure we have an alternative. WP prefers, as an encyclopedia, to use secondary, or even tertiary, sources, in other words, info which has been published in an unaffiliated, established, reliable source. If someone can suss out one, please do. I.think it is pertinant that the school is so tiny, or else I would be tempted to eliminate the number entirely. In the body of the article, a different, less recent source gave "about 50" for the student body, so I just changed that statement to "less than 50," and left it at that." ragity (talk) 14:07, 28 October 2019 (UTC)

Request for updates

In infobox, change title of "Dr. Eliot Grasso" from "Provost" to "Vice President," number of full-time "Academic Staff" to 5 and number of part-time to 3, and URL of website from "www.gutenberg.edu/home" to "www.gutenberg.edu". These are updates to facts about college.

Change "Curriculum" heading to "Academics", which is more typical for a college like Gutenberg. (See e.g. pages for New Saint Andrews College and Christendom College.)

Under "External Links", remove link to McKenzie Study Center, which is now defunct; redundant second link to "Biblical Foundation Statement"; and broken link to "State of Oregon Office of Degree Authorization". Rename "Gutenberg College" link to "Gutenberg College official website" or simply "Official site" a la pages for New Saint Andrews and Christendom and move it to top of list. Finally, either remove link to "Gutenberg College Biblical Foundation Statement"—preferred; probably not salient enough to highlight—or include correct link (https://gutenberg.edu/about/biblical-foundation-statement/).

Change current photo (Gutenberg_College.jpg), which is outdated—showing old landscaping—to more recent one taken in Sept. '21 (Gutenberg College photo.jpg). If the latter photo is inappropriate, please explain why, and user will locate a more suitable one.
