Citations and Opinions

The article makes several negative opinions about the actor's character and abilities. As such, shouldn't they be framed as such instead of as "authoritative commentary"? Example, "according to so-and-so, it was stated that ... his stable of good-looking, marginally talented actors." The fact is that many in the public disagreed, otherwise Mr. Madison would not have received a contract and thousands of fan letters. In addition, how does the author surmise the limitations were due to assumed limitations on the part of Guy Madison? Could any fault lie with the fluff productions of the 1950's and early 60's, let alone possible production limitations or constraints placed on Henry Wilson or Vanguard Pictures? Blanket, biased quips belong in press releases meant to stir up controversy to boost ratings, not serious biographical texts meant to present truth in context. My suggestion is that the article take care to present more depth of content instead of painting a two-dimensional portrait. A thorough biographical record of any human being should not be weighted toward negative - or positive - through subjective, opinion. Present the facts in context, and opinions with thoughtful explanations as to the conclusions drawn. Wikipedia should take more care with all biography articles because these deal with history, context, and the character of the subject. Regardless of what we see on cable news, it is an injustice to distill the lives of human beings down to "entertaining gibes". Tesseract501 (talk) 14:00, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Second inquiry. The article still does not cite the reference or contextual validity for the opinions written. Regarding the author's phrasing of "marginally talented" -- citations of source is needed, other wise the opinion should be removed. In addition, all Wikipedia articles that indicate opinion when publishing articles about PERSONS should be called written with greater care and concern; consideration and respect for the reputation of individuals should be held to a high standard. Using unreference and uncited terms such as "marginally" seems weasel-ly (wording that Wikipedia suggests should not be used in articles). In doing so, it disparages the work of the actor -- an actor for whom thousands of fans and associates believe to have been a very good actor. Tesseract501 (talk) 17:54, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

3d and Cinemascope

I recall that Guy Madison starred in "The Command" which is supposed to be the first Cinemascope western and "Charge at Feather River" which was in 3D (and contains the "Wilhelm Scream" which was used in other movies thereafter). Drinking
