The article currently compares Callendar's estimate of climate sensitivity with Schnmittner et al's. I've fixed the references and dug up the paper given as a reference. It does not feature a comparison with Callendar. His estimate is within their 66% error bounds (albeit a bit below their best estimate). Should we keep the statement per Wikipedia:Common knowledge or remove it as WP:OR? --Stephan Schulz (talk) 16:48, 15 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
I can see that comparing aginst the IPCC range makes sense. I can't see any virtue in picking one study - Schnmittner's - and pointing out that it agrees with that; its pure chance William M. Connolley (talk) 21:35, 15 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
