@Adam Cuerden: told me to try a nomination (I have been requested to add other reasons - she represents poorly represented groups, its black history month, there is a Nigeria writing contest on, I like trying new things .... )
Support While the image isn't absolutely perfect (the nametag intervenes a bit), between the high quality of all other aspects of the image and combined with the underrepresentation of people from pretty much any African country, I think this easily passes the bar.
