External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified 2 external links on Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:

- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20120307180213/http://www.cdnmedhall.org/dr-henri-j-breault to http://www.cdnmedhall.org/dr-henri-j-breault

Broken Links
editI found a broken link and I know there has to be one out there somewhere so I don't want it deleted. But the current one goes to a sorry not found page. This is the link:
History of Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital http://www.hdgh.org/en/historymission — Preceding unsigned comment added by Angieskidney (talk • contribs) 22:49, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
- I fixed this issue by using a copy from archive.org. PKT(alk) 16:32, 6 January 2019 (UTC)
Outdated
editI recently discovered that the building on Ouellette that I knew as Hotel-Dieu is now managed by Windsor Regional Hospital, and in poking deeper I found that there are plans to demolish both the Ouellette Ave. building (though it might be rebuilt) and the Metropolitan hospital (where I was born six decades ago!). There's no mention of the changes happening to Windsor's hospitals in this article currently, so I tagged it as outdated. I tried to find out when the change of management happened and was unable to find what I was looking for. PKT(alk) 16:32, 6 January 2019 (UTC)
External links
editThere are seven entries in the "External links". Three seems to be an acceptable number and of course, everyone has their favorite to add for four. The problem is that none is needed for article promotion.
- ELpoints #3) states:
Links in the "External links" section should be kept to a minimum. A lack of external links or a small number of external links is not a reason to add external links.
- LINKFARM states:
There is nothing wrong with adding one or more useful content-relevant links to the external links section of an article; however, excessive lists can dwarf articles and detract from the purpose of Wikipedia. On articles about topics with many fansites, for example, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate.
- WP:ELMIN:
Minimize the number of links
. - ELBURDEN:
Disputed links should be excluded by default unless and until there is a consensus to include them.
