DATELINE 24 Octover 2008: The following post is the ranting of a lunatic. He does not know what he is talking about, please disregard it.

H. L. Hunt: is almost single-handedly responsible for the 22nd Amendment (he spent his own money, lobbying statehouse-to-statehouse when everybody else in the nation was afraid of the political fallout from opposing the imperial presidency).
Produced more fuel - by himself - for the Allied efforts in WWII than the entire AXIS combined. All those battleships and warplanes and bombers and tanks and personell carriers on A&E were running on H. L. Hunt's fuel.
H. L. lobbied to discontinue the practice of venting natural gas into the environment at oilheads, even though most of the oil wells in the USA that were taken out of production were his own.
His daughter, Margaret Hunt Hill, invented convenience stores.
Her husband, Al G. Hill, later designed/conceived the device which allowed the natural gas to be safely separated and delivered to American Consumers and Industry - at a very cheap price.
In sum toto: H. L. is an historic figure in American industry and culture. The only person who might be his equal today might be the microsoft pair, possibly the Sheikh of Dubai.

Who is he? Well, he's most famous for his extensive private intelligence network led by Charles Willoughby and for speculation (with quite a bit of persuasive circumstantial evidence) that he was a key player in bringing about JFK's murder. He is a major oil producer. He and his family have crazy money, millions and millions that have extended to his grandchildren. They have had trust funds since they were 3. Each of his grandchildren and children are at least millionares. Majorly Swanky in the North Dallas Area. Hunt oil is known all over Texas. --Anon, Apr 5, 2007

Hunt was one of those guys who was a master manipulator in the early days of the East Texas oil patch and made his fortune from shrewd deals with bankers and drillers even though he might not have had a nickel in his pocket. His politics were ultra-right wing. He underwrote conservative radio broadcasts nationwide, and sponsored them with commercials for juice that he made from aloe vera plants. He was a health food fanatic. His children have had varying degrees of notoriety for their various endeavors. Neutrality

I tagged this page as violating neutrality, as there is a lengthy rambling portion that explains a conspiracy theory involving the assassination of JFK. Not only does it have a one sided POV, but there is no clear distinction that it is a conspiracy theory and not proven facts. To make things worse, none of the sources explain the presence of the text, nor are there any in-line citations to speak of. It looks like the perpetrator was an anonymous IP address about a week or so ago. In which case the page may simply be reverted, there seem to be other issues - such as the mention of an affair and children with a mistress with no in-line citation.--FrankieG123 (talk) 15:55, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Wives

As currently written, this entry seems to suggest that Hunt was a bigamist. It says that Frania divorced him after learning of his "other wives." Also, the text states that Hunt had six children with his first wife but also states that he married his second wife in 1925, at which time (according to the list of his offspring) he had only had three children. Bunker and Lamar are said to be his sons with his first wife, yet they were born after the marriage with his second wife. Can someone clarify the situation?
