Jimmy Wales
editI've taken the liberty of removing a reference to an interview of Jimmy Wales. While it's a significant event to Wikipedia, I don't think the interview constituted an important event in the life of the programme or in global terms.
Given the eminence of the people generally interviewed on that programme, I think we'd need unimpeachable grounds to include that particular reference rather than references to, for instance, interviews of Ali Osman Taha and Mikheil Saakashvili. --Tony Sidaway 02:18, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- I've reverted this again, with reference to our self-references guideline (WP:SELF), in particular the section called "Articles are about their subjects". The fact that the HARDtalk interview with Jimmy Wales was highly significant to Wikipedia does not make it significant to HARDtalk itself. --Tony Sidaway 14:30, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yep, good call. You have it right and I have it wrong. Sorry. Astronaut (talk) 15:32, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

HARDTalk → HARDtalk – Shouldn't the page's title, and URL, be HARDtalk, not HARDTalk? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.106.31.237 (talk) 17:26, 23 December 2021 (UTC)— Relisting. Jerm (talk) 01:00, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
- That makes sense, since that's how the name is rendered on the BBC's website and elsewhere. I will request a move. Yeeno (talk) 🍁 18:06, 23 December 2021 (UTC)
