- Currently, The HMAS Rushcutter is owned by a pastry chef named Ben Madden from Sydney, Australia. Talks about turning the boat into a navy/military themed water park have been initiated as of 2009.

- Still there (and image added). Now, what needs to be found is what happened between the (apparent) 2002 sale to the Persian Gulf, and the 2012 listing-for-sale in Rozelle. -- saberwyn 09:48, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- If the photos at http://s958.photobucket.com/user/rszarka/library/Rushcutter?sort=3&page=1 are anything to go by, she looks pretty worn, but in not-terrible condition. Of course, the engines may not work or there could be a hole or two in her hull ;) Nick-D (talk) 02:41, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
THE RUSHCUTTER
editCurrently the decommissioned HMAS Rushcutter is riding at anchor in Botany Bay off Shell Point. I have been trying to track down the owner of this vessel, so we could hold talks. Unfortunately, at this stage at least, all those I have written and spoken to who should have this information, are unwilling to divulge anything, especially the RMS. Our search continues, however I can confirm, that she has been in Botany Bay for some years now and someone must be paying the mooring fees but the question is, who? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leocat66 (talk • contribs) 23:06, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
