Scrap Iron Flotilla?
editThe Scrap Iron Flotilla article mentions this ship, but this article, unlike the other 4 ships in that article, does not mention that term. Probably it should. I leave it to more expert editors to make the change. --DThomsen8 (talk) 21:51, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Armaments
editThe article refers to her conversion to an escort destroyer (with halving of gun armament, deletion of torpedoes and increases to A/S and light AA armaments), but it appears that Vendetta went through several interim armament fits. Cursory glances at early wartime photos indicate that her after bank of TTs was deleted by 1940 at least and one or two quadruple Vickers .5 mgs were shipped at that time, whilst a 1945 photo of pre-surrender negotiations aboard her at Rabaul clearly show a Bofors gun in a single mounting - although how many of these weapons were mounted is not clear.
