Just to let you know, I am surprised that the US Army Instute of heraldry - which handles all heraldic work for the entire US Government - let this unit use the phrase "Flying Tigers" for its nickname and motto. The reason for that is because the real Flying Tigers was taken into the Air Force as the 13th Air Force after Pearl Harbor. SSG Cornelius Seon (Retired) 01:33, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- I am sure that the unit will take it under advice. There is also another Flying Tigers in HMM-262. Many units share nicknames and mottos. No biggie--Looper5920 01:56, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
