The introduction here says Arabis was "Originally ordered for the French Navy in the early days of the war". Can anyone confirm this? Neither Elliott nor Conway mention it. Elliott lists 12 ships ordered by the French (see here) but Arabis isn't one of them. Xyl 54 (talk) 23:59, 24 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
