editHow could Essex take dispatches for the British Minister in Mexico City on the 26th when she already returned to Veracruz on the 19th ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr.Lovecraft (talk • contribs) 14:22, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- Since Mexico City isn't a coastal city, the ship couldn't, but her captain could send people by rail.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:27, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Sturmvogel 66 The thing is, when you read the text it seems like she is still in Tampico.
- And by the way she was´nt send to Cruiser Force I in June as the text suggest but in November. Supplement to the Monthly Navy List.(November, 1915). p. 19. Mr.Lovecraft (talk) 17:37, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
