editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on HMS Hilary (1931). Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20080915194221/http://www.theshipslist.com/ships/descriptions/ShipsH.html to http://www.theshipslist.com/ships/descriptions/ShipsH.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, you may follow the instructions on the template below to fix any issues with the URLs.

editI'm happy to be corrected, but I do not believe this ship was used for infantry landing - rather it was an an infantry landing headquarters ship. Obscurasky (talk) 18:10, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- I've just undone my own edit as I'm not 100% certain it's correct, and it would also come under the heading of 'original research'. I know the ship was fitted with landing craft, but I was once told (by a crew member) that these were never used. Perhaps someone with more knowledge than me could look into this please.
